Why I Started Good Fifty

A t-shirt, like any item of clothing, is something you wear often, wash frequently, and, if it’s made well, keep for years. But unlike most clothes, a t-shirt sits right over your chest and heart. It’s usually the first thing people see, which makes it feel more personal and more connected to who you are.

I’ve always cared about the things I wear: where they come from, how they’re made, and who they support. But most of the time, the brands I came across focused on either style or substance, rarely both. So I decided to create one that does both.

The Mission: 50% to Charity

At the heart of Good Fifty is a simple idea. We give 50% of profits to causes that matter. Not 1%. Not a vague "portion." A real, transparent 50%. And you choose where your share goes when you check out, because you should have a say in the impact your purchase makes.

The Shirts: Elevated Essentials

We’re starting with t-shirts, but not just any tees. Ours are made with premium, responsibly sourced materials. They’re built to last and feel better the more you wear them. No loud logos. No gimmicks. Just well-made basics that do some good along the way. And they’re made right here in the USA.

What Makes Us Different

There are a lot of brands doing good work, but Good Fifty comes from a more personal place. It’s built on the belief that what we wear should mean something.

A lot of brands give a small portion to charity, but it often feels like a marketing tactic rather than a real commitment—especially when the clothes are made with cheap materials and underpaid labor. I saw through that, and I wanted to build something more honest. That’s why I created and named the brand Good Fifty. The mission is the name.

Beyond the mission, I wanted the clothes themselves to feel like something you actually want to wear every day. They’re soft, simple, and thoughtfully made. The kind of shirt that quietly becomes your favorite.

Every choice we make, from the fabric we use to the way we package our orders, reflects our belief that doing good and making great clothing can go hand in hand. Our shirts don’t just feel good on your skin. They carry meaning. When you wear one, you know it helped support a cause you care about. That makes it feel even better, not just in how it wears, but in what it represents.

Wear good.
